Step number one – Cleanse
First of all, after you wake up and before you go to bed you have to wash your face. Step number two – Skin toner
It’s important to use a toner because it closes your pores, removes the traces of dirt and oil, and it balances skin’s pH because it has alcohol and salicylic acid as its ingredients. If you have problems with oily skin, you should use astringent toner to remove the oil and to keep your skin clean. But if you have dry skin the best toners are alcohol-free. Also, it adds layers of protection, it moisturizes and it refreshes the skin.
Step number three – Masks
The most interesting thing about masks is that you can do it yourself. You can make a mask of your own that fits your skin type perfectly. Masks are great, they clean pores so your skin can breathe, they can get rid of acne and they can calm your skin very easily. For example, if you have irritated skin with a lot of acne and eczema you can take 1/3 cup of instant oatmeal, ½ cup of hot water, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1-2 tablespoons of plain, unsweetened yogurt. Wait for 10 minutes and then you can wash it up with warm water. Step number four – Scrubs
The great thing about scrubs is that they can prevent breakouts and exfoliate dry skin and you can also make a scrub on your own. That is one of the easiest methods which you can use.
Step number five – Sunscreen
It is very important that we care about our skin during the summer when our hands and face are always exposed to the sun. Sunscreen can help you protect your skin from the dangerous ultraviolet (UV) rays and prevent possibilities of skin cancer, sunburn, wrinkles, etc. You should always look up for a sunscreen with some of the ingredients like ecamsule, avobenzone, oxybenzone, titanium dioxide, sulisobenzone, or zinc oxide. After some sunbathing you will notice that your skin is glowing and that it has a perfect color.
